One of Britain’s oldest mothers to twins had her babies in 2002, at the age of 58. She had IVF treatments and had the babies via embryo donation. The couple spent their savings for the treatments, and when Janet’s husband, Martin died from a heart attack at the age of 64, the family was left with limited financial resources.
