#01 – Ancient Shipwreck Discovered In The Bottom Of Black Sea

A Greek merchant ship was found by researchers more than a mile under the surface of the Black Sea. The ship is is believed to be around 2,400 years old, so presently it is the world’s oldest known intact shipwreck. It was found by the Black Sea Maritime Archeology Project not far from the coast of Bulgaria. The Black Sea’s depths are oxygen free therefore the shipwreck remained in remarkable condition, so researchers have the possibility to examine and learn more about shipbuilding in the ancient world.
